These are some of the sayings of Debrena Jackson Gandy, international keynote speaker and seminar leader, business consultant, success coach, and author of Sacred Pampering Principles (William Morrow & Co., February 1997) and All the Joy You Can Stand (Random House, June 2000). Her new book, All the Joy You Can Stand went into its third printing in less then four months on the market, and made the national African-American Bestsellers list within its first 90 days on the market. Both of her books are recognized as African-American bestsellers. Debrena Jackson Gandy has been described as "dynamic, engaging, energizing, powerful" and "transformational." She is owner of Masterminds, an organizational development consulting firm, and The Afroscentrics Boutique, an on-line, internet motivational and educational products company. Ms. Gandy has been named as an Outstanding Young Woman of America, in Who's Who Among Top Minority Executives, and to Who's Who Among Professional and Executive Women, and Consummate Speaker of the Year by Sharing Ideas magazine.
Ms. Gandy regularly appears in Essence and Heart & Soul magazines as an expert on spiritual living and inner renewal and as a contributing feature writer.
